My name is Maxim Daniel and I was born in Bucharest in 1974. I spent my childhood at grandparent's in the Danube Delta in the village of Caraorman, the place where I lived many pleasant events and my greatest passion was born: fishing. Every time I go back to my grandparents, my heart is filled of joy, I'm filled with inner tranquility, and when I go I feel sad and I'm looking forward to go back as soon as possible. I feel an irresistible attraction towards water and the mystery it creates and everything under water represent to be a fantastic, exciting world. I like fishing for rapacious fish, and especially for pike, as you can see in all of my capture pictures.
I graduated the Faculty of Civil Engineering and I am a construction engineer. Every year I pay at least a visit to my grandparents. I live in Bucharest but everyday I can't help thinking of the places that will be in my heart forever.
I've created this site, just to show you some of the beauties of the Danube Delta, and to render homage to the village I grew up in, Caraorman. I am aware of the fact that these are certain artless nesses and blunders, but I hope that the more exigent to be tolerant to my possible lacks and enjoy the good parts of the site.
