The fishing Adventures

The links of this section contain short stories along with photos and explanatory notes on my fishing adventures in the Danube Delta. I am an fishing addict for predatory fish, so the pictures are mostly of big pikes , but which do not exceed 2-3 kilos. Taking into account that these captures do not look up to those presented in the fishing magazines, I don't consider myself a great fisherman, but a great fishing lover. I have been fishing since I was ten and I have many beautiful memories I would like to tell but I don't have photos too, so I thought I should start with the most recent ones as I have the substantial support of photos too. At the end of each story I tried to conclude on how the fishing was at the time. It is a personal opinion based on personal experience, and which may contain errors.

August 2001
Along with two of my friends I spent 6 days in the Danube Delta. I fished on the Crisan-Caraorman channel and an Litcov channel, and we tried to catch pike in the Cuibul cu Lebede ("Swan's Nest" Lake).
October 2001
In the autumn of 2001 together with my cousin Dragos we fished for pike and perch in Lumina and Puiulet Lakes.
Fall of 2002
In the next year 2002, we went fishing in large area: Puiulet, Lumina, Rotund, Vatafu, Chiril lakes and Crisan-Caraorman and Suez channels. Even if it hasn't been a good year for fishing, we still got pretty nice pikes, yet the real trophies did not yield at all.
